At KHASKEL, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or engage with our services.

It is written to reflect India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Who we are

This website and our services are run by KHASKEL, Racecourse, Police Line, Jalpaiguri 735101, West Bengal, India. We decide how and why the personal data you share with us is used, which makes us its Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We do not collect sensitive personal data unless explicitly required for service execution.

3. How we collect it

You share information with us through the enquiry form on this website, by email, phone or WhatsApp, in meetings, and through family members or coordinators you ask us to work with.

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, it and the services listed below receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type.

4. How we use your information

Your information is used strictly for:

  • Responding to inquiries and consultations
  • Planning and executing event-related services
  • Internal communication and coordination
  • Improving our services and client experience
  • Sending proposals, agreements, invoices and updates about your celebration
  • Meeting our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

5. Who we share it with

To plan and run your celebration, we share only the details each partner needs with the venues, hotels, caterers, decorators, transport operators, artists and other specialists involved in your event.

We also rely on a few service providers to run this website and our communication:

  • Google, for our email, and Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this website and receives your IP address when the page loads
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there

These providers handle data under their own privacy policies and may process it outside India. We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

6. Information about your guests

When you share details about your guests, please make sure they know you are doing so. We use guest information only to plan and deliver your event, and share it only with the partners who need it, such as hotels and transport operators.

7. Photographs and videos

Our team may photograph or film the décor, set-ups and moments at events we manage. We feature images in which you or your guests can be identified on our website or social media only with your consent, and we will remove such an image if you ask us to.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. However, no online transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. For an enquiry that does not go ahead, that is until it is no longer needed to respond to you. For a celebration we manage, it is the period of planning and execution, and afterwards for as long as accounting, tax and legal requirements oblige us. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. Cookies & website analytics

This website does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Its typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, as described above. If we introduce cookies or analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
